Small Art

Small Art shares intimate art experiences.

New Work:

12,828 Days in This Body

Laura Holway’s 12,828 Days in This Body pairs screenprints with a movement duet in an examination of the body as an archive, the imprints of nature and nurture, and the shifts of memory. The piece is being presented by the Minnesota Center for Book Arts as part of the MCBA/Jerome Foundation Book Arts Mentorship exhibit.

We use art to connect people.

Small Art creates intimate experiences in homes, artists' studios, galleries, storefronts, and right here on this website. We believe that art cracks us open in the best ways, and provides an important catalyst for community building, activism and conversation.

Small Art is curated and produced by Laura Holway, and collaborates with a network of Twin Cities independent artists.

Do you want to bring a Small Art event to your home or business? Are you an artist that works in small spaces?
